User Account Creation

User accounts in Legitt AI are typically created in one of two ways.

Method 1: Self Sign-Up with Email and Password

Who this is for: new users creating their own account.

Before you start: you are on the Create Account page, and your email address is not already registered.

Create Account page with email, password, Remember me, Continue, and Google sign-up options
  1. Enter your business email. The format is validated live as you type.

  2. Enter a password that meets the password rules. Strength and rule hints appear as you type so you can see what is still missing.

  3. Optionally, turn on Remember me to stay signed in on this device.

  4. Click Continue. Your details are validated, and the system checks whether an account already exists for that email.

  5. Check your inbox for the verification OTP.

  1. Enter the OTP on the OTP Verification screen and click the Verify button. After successful verification, you will be transferred to the onboarding screen.

  1. Complete the onboarding steps. You are granted access with the default role.

End state: the self-registered user is verified and active.

Method 2: Sign Up with Google

Who this is for: new users who want the fastest signup using an existing Google account. Create Account page with email, password, Remember me, Continue, and Google sign-up options

Before you start: you have a Google account, and you are on the Create Account page.

  1. Click Google. The Google consent screen opens.

  2. Select your Google account and grant consent. Google returns a verified token to Legitt AI.

  3. The system checks for an existing account. If you are new, your account is created from your verified Google email.

  4. Email verification is skipped — Google has already verified your address — and your account is immediately Active.

  5. Finish the onboarding steps. You are granted access with the default role.

End state: the OAuth user is active without a separate password.
