The Navigation Panel

The navigation panel on the left side of Legitt AI is home to everything you do: My Work, Inbox, contract creation, Alerts, Tasks, My Drive, Reports, Settings, and Legitt Co-Work. This guide explains what each destination is for and how to use it.

1. My Work

What it's for: your main dashboard and home overview — the place to start each session.

  1. Click My Work in the navigation panel. The main dashboard opens.

  2. Chat with Lana AI about your contracts that are active or going to expire. You can tell Lana to draft a contract or choose a template from Quick Start Templates.

  3. Choose core workflow for contract creation, eSignature or contract data extraction for obligations & renewals.

2. Inbox

What it's for: every notification in one place.

  1. A badge on Inbox shows your unread count.

  2. Click Inbox to open the notifications list.

  3. Open a notification or act on it directly. You are routed to the related contract or task, and the notification is marked as read.

  1. The unread badge updates as you work through the list.

3. Create

What it's for: drafting new contracts in the editor.

  1. Click Create. The contract editor opens.

  2. Pick a template or start from a blank document.

  3. Draft and edit the contract. Your edits are saved as you go.

  4. Save the contract, or send it onward for review or signature. It is stored in My Drive and routed to the people you chose.

4. Alerts

What it's for: staying ahead of contract expiries and renewals.

  1. Click Alerts. Contracts that are expiring or renewing are listed.

  2. Review the upcoming dates to see what is due and when.

  3. Act on each alert — renew, set a reminder, or dismiss.

5. Requests

What it's for: creating and tracking work items.

  1. Click Requests. Your requests list opens.

  2. Create a request, setting an assignee and a due date.

  3. Keep each request's state current as work progresses — for example To Do → In Progress → Done.

6. Bulk Analysis

What it's for: uploading many contracts at once and extracting their key information.

Note: Bulk Analysis is available on qualifying plans. If it is not part of your plan, you will see an upgrade prompt when you open it.

  1. Click Bulk Analysis. The upload area opens.

  2. Upload multiple contracts together.

  3. Legitt AI extracts the key information and metadata from each document and returns it as structured data.

  4. Review the results or export them.

7. My Drive

What it's for: the document library for every contract you own or that has been shared with you.

  1. Click My Drive. The document library opens.

  2. Browse folders or search to find a contract — both your own and those shared with you appear here.

  3. Open, share, or download a contract to manage it.

8. Reports

What it's for: reporting and analytics on your contract portfolio.

  1. Click Reports. The reports view opens.

  2. Select a report and apply filters to focus it. The report renders with your criteria.

  3. Review the insights on screen, or export them.

9. Settings

What it's for: configuring your own account and, if your role permits, your organization.

  1. Click Settings. Personal and Organization options are shown.

  2. Open Personal settings (My Profile) for your profile and preferences.

  3. Open Organization settings (My Org) for team members, roles, approvals, and billing. What you can change here depends on your role.

10. Legitt Co-Work

What it's for: quick AI help — chat with an agent about any contract.

  1. Click Legitt Co-Work. The agent chat opens.

  2. Ask the agent about a contract in plain language — for example, a renewal date, an obligation, or a clause.

  3. The agent processes your question and responds with the answer or insight.
