Onboarding Walkthrough

The first time you sign in, Lana - Legitt AI's assistant - walks you through four quick questions: your name, what you want to get done, your industry, and your team size. Your answers shape your workspace from day one. The whole thing takes under a minute.

Step 1: Your Name

You'll see: Lana greets you with "First, what's your name?" and two fields — first name and last name — with the cursor already in the first field.

  1. Type your first name. It is validated as you type.

  2. Move to the last-name field with Tab or a click, and type your last name.

  3. Press Enter or tap the arrow. The step checks that a name is present before continuing.

Your name is saved to your profile and used across your workspace — on documents, tasks, comments, and anywhere your teammates see you.

Step 2: Your Goals

You'll see: "What would you like to get done?" with six options you can tick. The arrow to continue stays disabled until you select at least one.

  1. Tick one or more goals that match what you want to do in Legitt AI. Each selection is marked, and the arrow enables after your first pick.

  2. If you choose Other, describe your goal in your own words.

  3. Tap the arrow or press Enter to continue.

Your selections are saved to your profile, and your workspace is tailored to them — the features and suggestions you see first will match what you said you want to get done.

Step 3: Your Industry

You'll see: Lana asks "Which industry are you in?" with seven options. Choose one to continue.

  1. Select the one industry that best matches your organisation. Only one can be selected, and your choice is highlighted.

  2. That's it — the step advances automatically once you choose. There is no separate Continue button.

Behind the scenes, Legitt AI applies industry-standard defaults for your sector, so things like contract types and review conventions start from the norms of your industry rather than a blank slate.

Step 4: Your Team Size

You'll see: "How big is your team?" with five size ranges. Choose one to continue.

  1. Select the range that matches your team. Only one can be selected, and your choice is highlighted.

  2. The step advances automatically once you choose, and onboarding finishes — you land in your workspace.

Your team size helps Legitt AI set sensible defaults for collaboration — a five-person team and a five-hundred-person org get different starting points.

Step 5: Choose Your Starting Point

You'll see: "How would you like to begin?" with three options. Choose one to continue.

  1. Select one option that's suitable for you.

  2. The first option gives you a complete walkthrough, screen by screen, as you switch through the app. With the second option, you can book a demo with the Legitt AI team. Clicking the third option takes you directly into your workspace.
