Introduction
Introduction
Reports turns your contracts and activity into insight across eight tabs - from repository-level portfolio analysis to customer and vendor views, a build-your-own dashboard, document throughput, team performance, sustainability impact, and a download log. This guide covers each tab in turn: what it shows and how to use it.
1. Overview
Common controls appear across several tabs:
-
Scope toggle - User / Company (or Self / Company) switches between your own data and the whole organisation's.
-
Status filter - All / Active / Expired narrows the contracts in view.
-
Reports button - exports the current view.
-
Ask Lana - the assistant, available at the bottom-right, for questions about what you're seeing.
2. AI Repository
What it's for: the deepest analysis view - a full breakdown of an analysed repository of contracts.
What you'll see
Choose a repository from the selector at the top; the header shows how many repositories and documents have been analysed. Sub-tabs (KPIs, Portfolio, Details, Compliance, Sales, Financials, Lifecycle, Families) jump to each area:
- Key Performance Indicators - Total Portfolio value, Clause Alignment Score, Active Contracts, Expiring in 90 Days, and Average Contract Value.
- Portfolio Overview - Contract Type Mix, Status Distribution, and Governing Law.
- Contract Details - a table of documents with parties, dates, cost, jurisdiction, and type; export with Download CSV, and save custom views.
- Risk Registers - Clause Alignment Breakdown (aligned / partially aligned / deviated) and Clause Alignment Health, with the contracts needing attention.
- Sales Intelligence - Payment Terms, Contract Model, Risk Level, Invoice Method, and Contract Flags (auto-renews, PO required, and so on).
- Financial Exposure - Value by Contract Type and Spend Concentration Risk.
- Expiry Timeline & Contract Families - a lifecycle timeline and the parent-child relationships between documents.
How to use it
- Select a repository and set the status filter (All / Active / Expired).
-
Scan the KPI cards for value, alignment, and expiry at a glance.
-
Use the sub-tabs to move into Portfolio, Compliance, Sales, or Financials.
-
Open Risk Registers to see which contracts need attention, and Download CSV to export the details.
3. Customer Contracts 360
What it's for: a single customer's whole contract picture in one place.
What you'll see
- Customer Snapshot - a generated narrative of the customer's footprint, clause posture, and watch items, plus top custom clauses.
- Contract Families - the customer's contracts grouped by type, with status, parties, and jurisdiction; switch between Table and Tree views.
- KPIs and Portfolio Overview - Total Portfolio, Active Contracts, Expiring in 90 Days, Average Value, plus Contract Type Mix, Status Distribution, and Governing Law.
- Financial Exposure and Document Lifecycle - value and concentration, and a timeline of the customer's contracts.
- Upcoming & Recurring Obligations - payment obligations per document (contracts without payment terms, such as NDAs, are not listed).
How to use it
- Pick a customer from the selector and set the Contract Status filter.
- Click Generate on the Customer Snapshot for the narrative summary and top custom clauses.
-
Review the Contract Families table (or Tree) for each agreement's status and parties.
-
Check Upcoming & Recurring Obligations for what's due, filtering by Overdue or Upcoming (30d).
4. Vendor Contracts 360
What it's for: the same 360-degree view as Customer Contracts 360, focused on a vendor.
What you'll see
The layout mirrors Customer Contracts 360, with sub-tabs for KPIs, Intelligence, Portfolio, Compliance, Contracts, Financials, Lifecycle, Obligations, and Families. Before a vendor's contracts have been analysed, panels show guided empty states - for example, "Vendor intelligence will appear here once contracts in this scope have been analysed" and "No contracts found."
How to use it
- Pick a vendor from the selector and set the status filter.
-
If the view is empty, the panels explain what's missing - the vendor's contracts need to be analysed first.
-
Once populated, read the KPIs, Portfolio, Risk Registers, and obligations exactly as in the customer view.
5. Customizable Dashboard
What it's for: a build-your-own dashboard where you choose the filters and widgets.
What you'll see
-
Filter bar - Status, Source, Contract Type, Counterparty, Risk Score, and Date, plus the User / Company scope toggle.
-
Headline cards - Total Contracts, Live Contracts, Pending Signatures, and Expired.
-
Widgets - charts such as Contracts by Source, Contracts by Region, and Contracts by Status, plus ranked tables like Top Status by Count. Each widget can be filtered (for example, Contracts by Status limited to a Risk Score band).
How to use it
- Set the filters along the top to define the data set.
-
Toggle User / Company to change scope.
-
Add a widget with the + button, and use each widget's controls to configure or filter it.
- Export the view with the download icon.
6. Document Lifecycle
What it's for: tracking throughput - where every document sits in its review and approval flow.
What you'll see
-
KPIs - Total, Completed (with completion rate), In Progress (and how many are in approval), and Average Cycle time against a target.
-
Filters - saved presets (for example, Overdue >14d, My documents), Status, Has Rejection, Creation Date, a Cycle Time slider, and Approver.
- Lifecycle Documents table - document name, creator, status, category, a progress indicator, and cycle time; export with Download Report.
How to use it
- Read the KPI cards for overall throughput and average cycle time.
-
Apply filters or a saved preset to focus on what matters (overdue items, your documents, a status).
-
Read the table for each document's stage and cycle, and page through the results.
-
Use Download Report to export.
7. Team Performance
What it's for: understanding how the team is working - workload, speed, and where people are stuck.
What you'll see
-
KPIs - Members, Created, Completion rate, Average cycle, and At risk (members needing attention).
-
Department Login Details - who logged in, their department, and last login; export to Excel.
- Filters - saved presets (At-risk members, Top performers, Slow cycle >14d), bottleneck stage, dates, completion and rejection rate ranges, and cycle-time bands.
- Team performance table - per member: created, completed, rejected, average cycle, bottleneck stage, and status (On track / Lagging / At risk).
How to use it
-
Read the KPI cards for team-wide throughput and how many members are at risk.
-
Use a saved preset - such as At-risk members or Slow cycle - to focus the table.
-
Read each member's row for workload, cycle time, bottleneck, and status.
-
Export login or performance data with the Excel buttons.
8. Green Report
What it's for: the sustainability impact of working digitally instead of on paper.
What you'll see
-
Scope and range - All Company / My Documents, and a time range (Last 30 days through All time, or Custom); export an impact certificate.
-
Impact cards - Documents Processed, Paper Saved, Trees Saved, CO2 Avoided, Water Saved, and Energy Saved, each with a real-world equivalent.
- Monthly Trend - a chart of CO2, documents, or pages saved over time, with an "Equivalent To" panel.
- Breakdown - impact by user (or all documents), with pages, trees, CO2, water, and energy per person.
How to use it
- Set the scope and time range.
-
Read the impact cards and the real-world equivalents.
-
Explore the Monthly Trend and the per-user Breakdown.
-
Use Export Certificate to download a shareable record of the impact.
9. Download Activity
What it's for: a log of what has been downloaded, by whom, and whether it succeeded.
What you'll see
-
KPIs - Total Downloads, Most Active User, File Formats, and Failed Downloads.
-
Search and filters - search by file name, the Self / Company toggle, and Format, Category, Status, and date filters.
-
Activity table - date and time, user, file name, format, category, and status.
-
By Format - a chart of downloads split by file type.
How to use it
-
Set the Self / Company scope.
-
Search or filter by format, category, status, or date to find specific downloads.
-
Read the table for each download's details and status, and the By Format chart for the mix.
