Introduction

Introduction

Settings is where you configure your account and your organization. It has two areas: My Profile (personal) and My Org (organization-wide, for owners and admins). This guide walks through every screen in both.

2. My Profile - Profile

What it's for: your personal information, security, document defaults, and notification preferences.

What you'll see

  • Personal Information - avatar, first and last name, email, and mobile (with country code); click Edit to change.

  • Security & Authentication - your active plan, plus Redemption Code, Password Change, Two-Factor Auth, and Account Pin.

  • Document Workflow - Default Collaborators / Signatories (including "Add me as default signatory" and WhatsApp notifications), Default Editor Zoom, Default Date Format, and Default Document Name (set default or custom).

  • Notification Settings - choose which in-app (Success, Info, Error, Warning) and email (document opened, successfully signed) notifications to hide; Save or Reset each.

  • Content Template - Choose any template as per your needs or you can upload your own template in My Template section for use.

3. My Org - Basic Details

What it's for: your organisation's identity and the core rules for documents, approvals, and signatures.

What you'll see

  • Company name and address - edit and confirm; used across the app.

  • AI Settings - AI enabled, collaborator permissions (allow / allow-with-warning / disallow other-org collaborators), and the approval flow options (task approval flow, manual completion, multiple assignees, auto-detect approvers, auto-send for sign, default reminder frequency), plus custom navigation and feature hiding.

  • Add signatory stage rule - add before finishing or after approval; include signature hash; signature-block fields (date, name, company, designation); legal review; Estamp & Aadhaar eSign; partner onboarding.

  • Word document, Verification, Google Drive, and defaults - markup display, access code, default due date, jurisdiction and currency, verification toggles, Drive sync, default document name, and default task editor (Legitt Editor or MS Word).

4. Org Structure

What it's for: defining the organizational dimensions used to classify contracts.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Regions, Entities, BU/Vertical, Pillars, Agreement Categories, Agreement Types, Departments, Designations, and Approvers.

  • Each tab lists its records with name, code, and status; add new ones (for example, Add Region), edit or delete, view history, and restore from Deleted Records.

5. Team Members

What it's for: managing who is in your organization and what they can do.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Team Members and Custom Roles.

  • Member cards showing email and role (for example, Admin or Read Only).

  • A license used to count and controls to Import, Download, and add members and search members.

6. Join Requests

What it's for: reviewing people who have asked to join your organization.

What you'll see

  • A table of requests with Email, Requested On, Status, and Actions to approve or decline.

  • When there are no pending requests, the table is empty.

7. Groups

What it's for: creating notification groups so the right people are alerted together.

What you'll see

  • A searchable list of notification groups (empty until you create one).

  • An Add Group panel with Name, Description, Status, and Members (name and email), with Save.

8. External Contacts

What it's for: keeping the external people you work with and connecting a CRM.

What you'll see

  • Contact cards with name, email, phone, and who added them; search contacts.

  • Controls to Select CRM, Integrate CRM, Import, and Add a contact.

9. Org Approvals

What it's for: the workflows that govern review, approval, and signing.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Approval Framework, Delegations, Pre-sign Flows, Post-sign Flows, and Domain Based Signatories.

  • Each lists its records with search, add, and Deleted Records; empty until you create one.

10. Content & Docs

What it's for: your organization's reusable content library.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Clauses, Templates, Marketing Materials, Playbook, and Variables.

  • Template cards with Region and BU tags; favourite (heart), search, a Files / Folders toggle, and Create / Add.

11. Transfer

What it's for: moving documents, signatory or approver roles, and repositories between team members.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Transfer Document, Update Signatories, Update Approvers, and Transfer Repository.

  • A four-step wizard: Select From → Choose Documents → Select To → Review & Transfer.

12. AI Business Rules

What it's for: defining the rules the AI uses when analyzing contracts.

What you'll see

  • Tabs for Repo Contract Analysis Rules and Financial Benchmarks; searchable, empty until you create one.

  • An Add Business Rule panel with Department, Rule Name, Rule Type (for example, Clauses), Keywords, and Rule Logic.

13. Integrations

What it's for: connecting Legitt AI to the other tools your organization uses.

What you'll see

  • A grid of integration cards - Legitt API credentials, Adobe eSign, email, payment settings, accounting, plus CRMs and platforms such as Notion, Monday, Zoho, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics. Each card opens the setup for that integration.

14. Products

What it's for: defining the products and pricing your organization puts on contracts (under Billing).

What you'll see

  • A searchable Company Products list (empty until you add one).

  • An Add Product panel with Name, Display Name, Description, Start/End Date, Status, file upload, overage pricing, Metadata (key/value), a Recurring / One-off choice, Amount and currency, Billing Frequency, Vertical or BU, and Regions.

14. Contracts & Invoices

what it's for: to import contract from SFDC* and prepare invoices.

15. Payment

what it's for: create payment link for customer and notify them via SMS or Email to pay.
